2008 Miami Aids Walk
Sunday, April 20th, 8-10AM

Did you know that Miami-Dade County has the highest AIDS infection rate in the country? Show Christ’s love to those affected in a relevant, easy, and even healhty way. If you haven’t had the chance to sign up yet, it’s not too late to join in the 2008 Miami AIDS Walk. It will take place on Sunday, April 20th from 8:00-10:00 am.

Participants are asked to try to raise a minimum of $50 (though there is not minimum amount to be able to walk). Proceeds will benefit Care Resource, an organization that serves more than 7,000 individuals affected by HIV/AIDS with health services, food and basic needs, counseling and support, etc. Mosaic will have a team, so if you are interested in joining email Julie at: uvita2007@gmail.com.

If you don’t want to participate in the walk, but would like to support our team, you can bring your donations on Sunday (checks can be made out to Care Resource). You can also go to the website, www.aidswalkmiami.org, and click on the “more” link in the box at the right entitled “Team Ranks.” Scroll down until you find Mosaic Miami, and click on the team name. You can either select an individual to support, or click on general team donation. All donations are, of course, tax deductible. Looking forward to your participation!
